新材料產業是全市新型工業化體系四大支柱產業之一，涵蓋了特種鋼材、特色焊材、裝配式建筑構件、裝飾裝修材料、水泥及水泥制品、玻璃纖維、碳纖維、土工材料、基礎設施建設專用新材料等產品。產業鏈擁有石橫特鋼、泰山玻纖、泰山石膏、路德新材料、中聯水泥等一大批行業龍頭企業，規劃建設岱岳區綠色建筑產業園、寧陽綠色建材循環經濟產業園、肥城建安制造產業園、東平九鑫集團高端金屬表面處理循環經濟產業園、泰山玻纖產業園、碳纖維復材產業園等特色園區，持續打造新材料產業集群。下一步，將以龍頭骨干企業為引領，以補鏈延鏈強鏈項目為帶動，以園區集群建設為載體，增創產業發展新優勢，助力新型工業化強市建設。
New material industry in Taian city is one of the four pillar industries of the city's new industrialization system. It covers the products including special steel, specialty welding materials, prefabricated building components, decorative materials, cement and cement products, fiberglass,carbon fiber, geosynthetics materials, and specialized new materials for infrastructure construction, etc. The industry chain comprises a large number of leading enterprises such as Shandong Shiheng Special Steel Co.,Ltd, Taishan Fiber Glass Inc, Taishan Gypsum, Shandong Road New Material Co.,Ltd, China United Concrete Taian Co., Ltd. Plans to construct featured industry parks such as Daiyue District Green Building Industry Park, Ningyang Green Building Materials Circular Economy Industry Park, Feicheng Jianan Manufacturing Industry Park, Dongping Jiuxin Group High-end Metal Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industry Park,TaishanFiberglass Industry Park,Carbon Fiber Composite Material Industry Park, etc. Aiming at build a new material industrial cluster. Next step will be led by leading backbone enterprises, driving by projects to fill the gaps, extend and strengthen the valued chains, leveraging the construction of industry clusters as a carrier, creating new advantages in industrial development to support the construction of a strong city with new industrialization.
